The Defensor PH15 mobile humidifier and purifier delivers up to 1.7L/h humidification output, ideal for museeums, galleries, churches (organs) and offices. Quiet, efficient, and easy to control. A fan draws dry air through the side grilles. The air absorbs moisture and blows itt into the room through the vent at the top of the humidifier.

Digital controls and timer

User-friendly digital controls make operating the PH15 simple and precise. The intuitive display shows key settings, operating status, and humidity levels at a glance. A programmable timer supports automated operation, helping maintain consistent air quality while optimizing energy use throughout the day. This humidifier is equipped with an integrated hygrostat. The key lock prevents unwanted input of settings. An external wireless sensor is available as an option.

The device can both humidify and purify the air - how does it work?

The Defensor PH15 offers both functions. On the one hand, it works as an evaporative humidifier (in winter mode) with a maximum humidification capacity of up to approximately 1.7 l/h.

On the other hand, by changing the filter in summer, it can be used purely as an air purifier. Humidification is then deactivated and the air is purified instead (e.g., against fine dust, pollen, odors).

What room size or volume is the PH15 suitable for?

How much power does it consume and how loud is the device when in operation?

The PH15 requires a maximum of 72 W of power during operation.

The sound pressure level varies depending on the fan speed; typical values are: approx. 33 dB(A) at the lowest speed to 50 dB(A) at the highest speed.

This makes the device comparatively quiet and suitable for museums, exhibition rooms, or work areas, provided it is not operated at maximum speed.

Tip: For rooms with high noise sensitivity, the lower speed is recommended—sufficient humidification is often achieved even at this speed.

What maintenance and hygiene measures are necessary for the device?

The following points are important to ensure that the Defensor PH15 works hygienically and reliably:

Regular filter replacement (e.g., coarse dust or Quattro filter) and, if necessary, replacement of the evaporator mat.

When operating in humidification mode, care must be taken to ensure that the water does not stand or become contaminated — the “silver ionization” option helps to reduce germ growth in the water.

Location and connection selection: The device should be placed on a level, well-ventilated surface, not directly against exterior walls or in narrow niches.

For versions with a tank: The tank must be refilled and checked regularly. For direct water connection (PH15A), use aquastop and leak monitoring if necessary.
