Sensors – accurate measurement for reliable humidity control
Sensors are the eyes and ears of a humidification system, providing the real-time measurement that controllers depend on to make correct decisions. Without accurate sensors, even the best humidifier cannot reliably maintain target humidity levels. Condair offers a range of humidity and temperature sensing devices suited to diverse commercial HVAC environments.
Humidity sensors monitor relative humidity and send precise data back to controllers. They can be installed in ducts or within occupied spaces depending on the control strategy. Many sensors also include integrated temperature measurement, enabling dual-parameter monitoring that supports more stable control and prevents undesired condensation.
Outdoor and duct temperature sensors add further insight into environmental conditions. These devices help prevent moisture-related issues such as condensation on cold surfaces by allowing the control system to adjust set-points based on outside air conditions.
Together, humidity and temperature sensors ensure controllers receive accurate, reliable input. This leads to better humidity regulation, reduced energy waste and enhanced comfort and protection for building occupants, equipment and processes
