Switzerland’s most prestigious university ETH Zürich

ETH Zurich, officially known as the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, is widely recognised as Switzerland’s most prestigious university and consistently ranks among the world’s leading institutions of higher education. Founded in 1855 as the Swiss Federal Polytechnic, ETH has long been dedicated to advancing knowledge in the technical, mathematical, and scientific fields. Over the decades, it has become a hub of innovation and excellence, producing 21 Nobel Prize laureates — including Albert Einstein, who later returned as a professor — and shaping global scientific progress.

Today, ETH Zurich hosts around 23,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students and employs more than 560 professors, fostering a vibrant academic community that thrives on interdisciplinary collaboration. Beyond its main campus in Zurich, ETH expanded internationally with the establishment of a location in Singapore in 2010, where research focuses on sustainable urban development and resilient infrastructures through the Centre for Global Environmental Sustainability (SEC).

The university’s commitment to cutting-edge research and education is matched by its dedication to providing an optimal learning environment. Condair steam humidifiers play a vital role in maintaining healthy and comfortable air humidity in laboratories and classrooms, ensuring both the well-being of students and the protection of sensitive equipment.

Condair RS

The Condair RS steam humidifiers boast patented limescale management which prevents permanent deposition of limescale on heater rods. Limestone deposits are successively detached and removed from the steam cylinder into the limescale collection vessel. Limestone management ensures extremely short waiting times and a long life.

The innovative control system fitted with a touch display ensures outstanding transparency of function and precise steam delivery. The units are the result of decades of experience and they define the state of the art in modern steam humidification.

Erste Campus

The Erste Campus in the Quartier Belvedere district is the new headquarters of the Erste Group, and has room for about 4,500 workstations. With its diverse range of restaurants and cafits, the campus avoids the self-contained isolation of a typical bank office. Its award-winning design was created by Viennese star architects Marta Schreieck and Dieter Henke. Condair EL steam humidifiers provide for an ideal indoor climate in common spaces, offices and conference rooms.
