Since 2016, the Havenhuis has served as the headquarters of the Antwerp Port Authority, uniting a protected 1922 fire station with a bold, forward-leaning structure that evokes both a diamond and a ship’s bow. This fusion of old and new creates a striking presence along the waterfront and reflects the city’s identity as a centre of commerce and culture.

A panoramic elevator built into the exterior column offers sweeping views over one of Europe’s busiest ports, underscoring the building’s openness and dynamism.
