The Evolution Tower

Located in the heart of Moscow International Business Centre (Moscow-City), the Evolution Tower is a landmark of contemporary Russian architecture. Rising to a height of 255 metres with 54 storeys, this twisted skyscraper was completed between 2011 and 2015 in collaboration with renowned Scottish artist Karen Forbes and the architectural team led by Tony Kettle (RMJM) and Philipp Nikandrov (Gorin & Partners).

The tower owes its international fame to its extraordinary 135° spiral twist: each floor is rotated approximately 3° relative to the one below, creating the impression of two elegant ribbons gracefully entwining as they rise into the sky. The design draws inspiration from the swirling domes of Saint Basil’s Cathedral and Auguste Rodin’s famous sculpture “The Kiss”, symbolising movement, energy and unity.

With a total floor area of approximately 169,000 m², the Evolution Tower provides premium Class A office space, a multifunctional congress centre, retail areas, wedding and ceremony facilities on the top floors with panoramic views of Moscow, and underground parking. The twisting form not only creates a unique aesthetic but also optimises natural light and ventilation for every office.

Allianz-Arena, Munich

The Allianz Arena was one of the most controversial construction projects, even prompting a public vote by Munich citizens. It has since become a central landmark in northern Munich and an architectural symbol of the city. Particularly striking is the translucent, diamond-shaped outer shell, which can glow in different colors.

Using projectors and asymmetrical parabolic mirrors developed specifically for the Allianz Arena, the diamonds can be illuminated in different colors depending on the club's colors. The stadium is around 50 meters high, 200 meters long, and can accommodate 66,000 spectators. Condair RS steam humidifiers ensure optimum humidity levels.

In January 2017, the Elbphilharmonie (or Elbe Philharmonic Hall) was officially opened after about ten years of construction work. Its unique glass facade, which plays on visual associations with sails and ocean waves, has already established itself as a new landmark of the Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Inside the Elbphilharmonie™s main concert hall, specially-designed and individually-carved wall and ceiling elements provide incredibly precise sound diffusion and perfect acoustics.
