Perfect humidity at Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet

The Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet invites visitors to explore the heritage of Swiss Haute Horlogerie. Combining striking architecture, living workshops, and a collection of over 300 timepieces, it offers a unique journey into the brand’s past, present, and future.

To ensure that visitors enjoy this journey in perfect comfort, Condair DL hybrid humidifiers maintain an ideal atmospheric humidity. This subtle yet essential technology protects the delicate timepieces on display while creating a pleasant environment for guests — a perfect balance between preservation and well-being.

Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet

Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet opens its doors to take visitors on a journey through this Swiss watchmaker’s cultural past, present, and future. It is a place of encounters where the craft is lived and celebrated. In a blend of contemporary architecture, exceptional museum staging and traditional savoir-faire, Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet expresses the manufacturer’s free spirit and its commitment to preserving Haute Horlogerie — in the Vallée de Joux and beyond.

The architectural design itself is a masterpiece: a spiral-shaped glass pavilion that harmoniously integrates into the surrounding landscape, symbolising the continuous flow of time. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in an atmosphere where innovation meets tradition, and where every detail reflects the brand’s dedication to excellence.

The trail takes visitors past not only showcases containing some 300 watches from the collection — from historic pocket watches to groundbreaking complications — but also two watchmaking workshops where people actually work, thereby creating a living museum. Here, guests can witness the meticulous artistry of watchmakers at their benches, experiencing firsthand how precision and passion come together in the creation of timepieces.

Musée Atelier Audemars Piguet offers a unique opportunity to delve into the history of watchmaking in the Vallée de Joux and to discover how the brand’s watches, created in Le Brassus, have conquered the world. Interactive installations, multimedia storytelling, and rare archival pieces enrich the experience, making it not only a museum visit but a journey into the very soul of horology.

Condair DL

The Condair DL is the next generation of the Condair Dual2 - the world's most successful system for adiabatic humidification. Its hygienic credentials have proven successful in practice and were verified and certified by independent organizations with public responsibility.

Hybrid humidification relies exclusively on the advantages of atomisation and evaporation. This results in the sustainable resolution of key problems which can emerge when these technologies are used in isolation. The humidification system is therefore the first choice in terms of hygiene, energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Paul Klee Museum, Bern, Switzerland

The Kunstmuseum, Zentrum Paul Klee, is located in Bern, Switzerland, in the immediate vicinity of the Schlosshalde cemetery, where Paul Klee™s grave can also be found. The building is dominated by curved arches that blend harmoniously into the surrounding hilly landscape. It houses the comprehensive work of the Paul Klee Foundation and reflects the artist™s complexity through the division into three hills. The North Hill is dedicated to practical art education, conferences, and workshops. The Central Hill is used for collection presentation and temporary exhibitions, the South Hill for research and administration. Condair™s DL hybrid air humidifiers create an optimum indoor climate for visitors and the sensitive works of art.

Musée du Louvre, Paris

The Louvre Museum is a museum located within the Louvre Palace in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France. It houses some of the most iconic works of Western art, including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo.
With 72,735 m² of rooms and galleries, it is the largest art museum in the world, ahead of the Hermitage Museum (66,842 m²) in Russia and the National Museum of China (65,000 m²).

Various Condair humidity control technologies (Condair DL, RS, ME, DC) help maintain the ideal indoor humidity for the preservation of the exhibits and the well-being of staff and visitors.

Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg - Germany

In January 2017, the Elbphilharmonie (or Elbe Philharmonic Hall) was officially opened after about ten years of construction work. Its unique glass facade, which plays on visual associations with sails and ocean waves, has already established itself as a new landmark of the Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Inside the Elbphilharmonie™s main concert hall, specially-designed and individually-carved wall and ceiling elements provide incredibly precise sound diffusion and perfect acoustics.

The main hall has 2,100 seats in total, and each seat is individually supplied with fresh air. Condair DL hybrid humidifiers ensure comfort for visitors and optimal acoustic conditions for the orchestra.

Royal Albert Hall

The Royal Albert Hall is probably the best-known concert building in Great Britain. Aronud two million guests a year enjoy acoustic cultural delights ranging from rock to classical music. Condair steam humidifiers ensure a perfect humidity in the organ chamber so that wooden parts maintain their integrity and shape, and move over each other perfectly, as they were designed to do.

Mudac Museum, Lausanne, Switzerland

The mudac in Lausanne, designed by the Portuguese architects Aires Mateus, is an architectural masterpiece that houses two museums. The Museum of Design and Applied Arts and the Elysée Museum of Photography. Its architecture consists of two structures connected by a horizontal glass opening, giving visitors the feeling of being outdoors, no matter where they are in the building.

The upper part of the building rests on just three load-bearing points, which is an impressive feat of engineering and makes the upper structure appear to float. RS resistive steam humidifiers from Condair ensure a pleasant and healthy indoor climate and optimum humidity levels for conservation and value preservation purposes.

Olaf Gulbransson Museum, Tegernsee

British Museum, UK

The British Museum first opened its doors in 1759, and is now one of the largest and most important culture and history museums in the world. In 1850, it moved to a larger building that was specially built to house its ever-growing collection. At the center of the classically-designed building is a covered square, with the former British Library building at its center. The roof was designed by the English star architect Sir Norman Foster, and is made up of 3,312 glass panes arranged in pairs. They cover the entire square, which at 76,500 square feet is the largest covered public square in all of Europe. Condair steam humidifiers on each of the museum's three floors ensure an ideal indoor climate for visitors and exhibits alike.
