Excess humidity in swimming pools can create sticky, uncomfortable conditions and pose risks to both health and the building structure. The DP-C series efficiently dehumidifies the air and recovers heat, ensuring a comfortable, healthy, and energy-efficient swimming environment.

Compact unit layout

The Condair DP-C features a high efficient refrigeration circuit using R410A refrigerant, non-toxic and non-flammable (safety group A1). Thermostatic expansion valves manage pressure equalisation. All components are from established brands and easily accessible. The unit’s design separates air flow, refrigerant, and electrical components into dedicated compartments for safe and relieable operation.

Accessories and humidity control

The Condair DP-C series offers an extensive collection of accessories and humidity control options. Available upgrades include EC fans, electric or hot water heating coils, built-in humidity sensor and pool water heat recovery. Units can be controlled via the integrated sensor, external hygrostats or other humidity controllers. Modbus RTU is available for building management system integration.

During operation, all heat recovered in the dehumidification process is transferred to the supply air, maximising energy efficiency. The Condair DP-C series offers optional auxiliary heating solutions to support pool area temperature control. Available options include hot water coils with an optional modulation valve or electric heaters, helping maintain desired air temperatures and providing additional comfort.

What is the dehumidification capacity of the Condair DP-C series?

The Condair DP-C series provides efficient dehumidification, with capacities ranging from approximately 50 l to 190 l per day at 30 °C and 80 % relative humidity, depending on the model. These single-phase 230 V/50 Hz units operate across a temperature range of 20–36 °C and a humidity range down to 40 % rh, with 55–60 % rh commonly targeted in private pool applications.
