Efficient fans

High-quality, directly driven AC or EC fan with quiet and efficient operation. Various static pressures can be set on the dehumidifier. All air-moving parts are completely separated from the refrigeration components and the electrical box. The fan housing is sound-insulated.

Refrigeration Circuit

Highly efficient refrigeration circuit using R410A refrigerant. The circuit uses only well-known brand components. The refrigernat is neither toxic nor flammable and belongs to safety group A1. Pressure equalisation is managed by thermostatic expansion valves. All components are easily accessible after removing the appropriate covers.

Cheshire Fire & Rescue Services Training Centre

Firefighters at the training centre of the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Services at Winsford are benefiting from a Condair DC-W dehumidifier to dry out their protective kit at the end of each wet training exercise. Equipment ensuring the strict control of moisture in a drying room is essential to save firefighters' gear from the effects of water damage after a call-out or a training exercise. It's vital that they have access to a drying facility to prevent extensive damage and potentially significant replacement costs for the fire service. Winsford's fire training centre offers the most up-to-date technology to ensure the best possible training for existing firefighters and new recruits, serving a large area of the North West Fire Services. After training the firefighters return to their allocated bases from where they operate a shift system of nine firefighters and officers crewing a fire engine, major rescue unit and incident response unit 24/7. The training centre operates Monday to Friday with high numbers of staff and trainees, and potentially a lot of clothing that needs drying out on a daily basis, so reliability is essential.

Nordsee One Offshore Wind Farm

The Nordsee One offshore wind farm is located about 35 kilometers north of the island of Juist in the southern North Sea and has a total area of 41 km2. Nordsee One went into operation in December 2017 and has been supplying green electricity ever since.54 wind turbines with a rotor diameter of 126 meters and a rated output of 6.15 MW each will be used. The wind turbine starts at wind speeds from 3.5 m/s and reaches its maximum output at about 12 m/s.In order for the many thousands of wind turbines operated in the North Sea and Baltic Sea to function safely in the long term, a maximum air humidity must not be exceeded in their operating rooms.To ensure this, 54 Condair DC seawater-proof dehumidification systems were used at Nordsee One.

CH4 Global

CH4 Global uses aquaponic growing methods in their facility in the far south of SA (Arno Bay) to grow Asparagopsis seaweed. This seaweed is then used as part of a unique animal feed supplement to significantly reduce the amount of methane gas that enters the atmosphere from livestock. The combination of artificial lighting and the aquaponic reservoirs create a lot of water vapor to be released into the air. This means the facility reaches very high humidity levels which need to be controlled. The artificial lighting puts off a heat load that is already handled by current HVAC. To ensure we didn't add to this heat load we needed to ensure a dehumidifier was to not add unnecessary heat gains. Condair used its DC-N dehumidifier range for this application. These units fit the need of the customer as they have a remote condenser. This allows the supply air temperature to remain neutral. 2 units were supplied for production areas - DC270-N and DC350-N. These units will remove on average 600L per day for the customer.
