Excess humidity in swimmingpools can create sticky, uncomfortable conditions and pose risks to both health and the building structure. The DP-HE efficiently dehumidifies the air, recovers heat, and mixes in controlled fresh air, ensuring a comfortable, healthy swimming environment.
Heat Recovery
The DP-HE units efficiently recover heat from warm, humid pool hall air using a crossflow heat exchanger. An optional additional heat-recovery accessory can preheat the fresh air supply, enabling operation with fresh air at outdoor temperatures as low as -30°C, maximising energy savings and maintaining comfort.
PLC Climate Control
The DP-HE unit’s built-in PLC controls humidity and temperature with flexible daily or weekly schedules. E.g. during active periods, full comfort is maintained via the refrigerant circuit and fresh air. In standby, only fresh air is supplied at a higher setpoint to save energy. The PLC also allows adjustment of EC fan speed for optimal airflow.

Alpha cycle dehumidification
Warm, humid pool air recovers heat in the crossflow exchanger. Around 30% is exhausted, while the rest is dehumidified, mixed with fresh air, reheated, and returned to the room.
