Steam humidification at the iconic Festspielhaus Erl
The Festspielhaus Erl was designed like a diamond unearthed from the mountain by the Viennese architects Elke Delugan-Meissl and Roman Delugan. The building's geometry also makes reference to the cliff formations behind it and the topography around it. Its entrance staircase and the glass facade of the foyer were designed to resemble a tectonic stratification with crevices lying in between.
During the day, this configuration reveals a clear path into the building's interior and at nighttime the lighting of this "artificial crevice" creates an exhilarating entrance to the foyer of the Festspielhaus. The building has a total usable surface area of 7,000 square meters, more than 862 seats, the world's largest orchestra pit at 160 square meters, and a comfortable indoor humidity thanks to Condair steam humidifiers.

Condair RS
The Condair RS steam humidifiers boast patented limescale management which prevents permanent deposition of limescale on heater rods. Limestone crusts are successively detached and removed from the steam cylinder into the limescale collection vessel. Limestone management ensures extremely short waiting times and a long life.
The innovative control system fitted with a touch display ensures outstanding transparency of function and precise steam delivery. The units are the result of decades of experience and they define the state of the art in modern steam humidification.
