Flexible and future-proof

ML Flex is designed for simple and flexible installation. The humidification nozzles are mounted directly onto the piping system, eliminating the need for electrical connections at the point of humidification. This reduces installation complexity and simplifies system expansion.

Each stainless steel nozzle delivers up to 4.5 kg of water per hour, providing efficient and precise humidification. The modular design allows additional nozzles to be added as requirements change, making ML Flex a future-proof solution that can easily adapt to new layouts, zones or capacity demands.

Explosion-proof design for industrial environments

ML Flex is designed for use in production facilities where safety requirements are critical. The explosion-proof system design makes it suitable for industrial and manufacturing environments where ATEX compliance or elevated safety standards may be required. By eliminating electrical components at the point of humidification, ML Flex supports safe operation in areas with strict safety regulations.

For optimal performance, ML Flex is recommended for installations with ceiling heights of 7.3 metres or higher. This makes the system particularly well suited for heavy industry, large-scale production areas and manufacturing facilities where reliable humidification must be combined with robust safety design.

Hygienic design based on HACCP principles

The ML humidification system is designed, produced and serviced in accordance with HACCP principles, ensuring a high level of hygiene and operational safety. This approach supports controlled and traceable processes throughout the system’s lifecycle, from manufacturing to installation and ongoing service. Direct room humidification can be used both for conditioning the room air and for process cooling. The automotive supplier HELLA in Recklinghausen makes use of the principle of adiabatic cooling with additional air humidification.

Argelith Bodenkeramik H. Bitter GmbH (Bad Essen) is one of the world's leading companies as a manufacturer of high-quality industrial tiles. In order to reduce the high heat loads caused by the thermal processes of production, the company uses direct room air humidification.

V-ZUG, Switzerland

As a manufacturing company for household appliances for kitchens and laundry rooms, V-ZUG has a dual impact on the environment: they design appliances to be as efficient in use as possible, and they produce these appliances with maximum resource efficiency and minimal emissions.

The new Zephyr Hangarœ building at the Zug site houses a new sawtooth-roof structure that includes the pressing facility, where manufactured parts are also enameled. These production processes generate large amounts of waste heat, resulting in extremely dry indoor air, which in winter can drop to just 10 percent relative humidity. This presents a major challenge for the comfort of employees and the wood-intensive building, as the wooden structure requires a minimum humidity level of 30 percent relative humidity. Additionally, this situation poses a significant challenge for sustainable cooling.

This is where Condair comes into play! The solution involves Condair˜s high-pressure nozzle system,
ML-FLEX, with 152 nozzles providing a nethumidification capacity of approximately 280 liters per hour and a simultaneous, calculated evaporative cooling effect of 16 Kelvin, meaning the room air is sustainably cooled from around 38 degree centigrade to approximately 22 degree centigrade during the humidification process.

This contained tropical rainforest is maintained at a constant 24-27°C with high humidity, ensuring an ideal climate for the flora and fauna.The building has been designed with sustainability in mind, having received the Leed (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification and is fully compliant with the Dubai Municipality green building regulations and specifications.The Condair's ML Flex high-pressure humidifiers installed are capable of introducing up to 720 litres of moisture per hour to maintain the desired internal humidity while also providing up to 490kW per hour of low energy evaporative cooling.
