Humidity for design classics
Since 2013, the company has also been producing in Rawicz, Poland: More than 100 employees of Fritz Hansen Production Sp. z o.o. are responsible for the production of high-quality designer chairs there. In the sensitive production areas, a standardised indoor climate and controlled humidity play an important role in quality assurance.

Optimal humidity protects
"Our production conditions must be optimal in all areas in order to meet the high quality of the design for our customers," explains Maciej Waldmajer, Maintenance Manager at Fritz Hansen. To ensure optimum air fencing, Fritz Hansen uses a high-pressure air humidification system of the ML Princess type in production and final assembly. The humidifiers positioned on the hall ceiling protect the compression-moulded veneer chairs from warping and cracking. In addition, the additional humidity ensures a high-quality painting process.

Safe technology
All water-bearing parts of the ML system are made of stainless steel to guarantee long use and absolute hygiene. The reverse osmosis system integrated into the system also makes the water free of minerals, salts and germs. For Maciej Waldmajer, ML air humidification thus meets the requirements exactly: "Air humidification is an integral part of our quality management, on which we have to rely 100%. The high hygiene standards and the safe technology of the ML system convinced us right from the start."
