The well-known fully automatic espresso/coffee machine specialist has been using a DRAABE air humidification system for the optimal indoor climate in the newly built customer communication centre since 2012. This protects employees from voice disorders and infectious diseases.

Dry air makes you sick

Air that is too dry is one of the most common causes of respiratory diseases, which also include hoarseness and laryngitis. But even before serious illnesses occur, dry air is often the cause of complaints: the mucous membranes dry out and are irritated. Speaking is perceived as unpleasant and stressful. The voice is no longer so smooth and the articulation that is so important is difficult. In call centres, respiratory diseases are one of the main causes of sick leave.

Humidity with safety

The DRAABE air humidification system has nebulisers specially designed for offices, which ensure a constantly optimal humidity and work very quietly. It is also certified with the test seal for optimised air humidification of the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) and also meets the guidelines of VDI 6022, Part 6 for decentralised air humidification systems. JURA was immediately convinced. "Hygiene and safety are of course particularly important to us with such a plant. The DRAABE systems can guarantee us the safety we want, and the discreet design of the nebulisers integrates perfectly into the room," says Thomas Fechner, Executive Advisor at JURA Elektrogeräte Vertriebs-GmbH. With a six-monthly replacement of the water treatment unit and a check of the entire system, Condair Systems guarantees trouble-free and hygienically safe use of the DRAABE air humidification system. For JURA as a user, the system is therefore maintenance-free.
