Keeping employees healthy at Sparkasse Mainfranken, Würzburg, Germany

The branch in Karlstadt is already the second branch of the bank with additional air humidification. By humidifying the customer centre, the counter hall, the credit department and other office space, customers and employees of the Fränkische Sparkasse now benefit from a healthy and vitalising indoor climate.

Fits anywhere

In Karlstadt, as well as in the office in Esselbach, 30 kilometers away, the DRAABE NanoFog air humidification system is used. This system is specially designed for use in the office and is also suitable for retrofitting. This made it possible to moisten both the new building and the old building. For both parts of the building, air humidification in the central ventilation system was not possible. Digitally controlled, 20 DRAABE NanoFog humidifiers now control an optimal air humidity of between 40% and 50% all year round.

Fewer complaints

Hygienic operation is ensured by an integrated water treatment system that sterilizes the water to 100%. The air humidification system is also certified according to VDI 6022 Part 6 and is inspected annually by the VDI for function and hygiene. The Sparkasse does not have to take care of maintenance itself: the water treatment system is automatically replaced every six months. For the employees, the indoor climate has improved noticeably since commissioning. "I have much fewer complaints with dry mucous membranes and simply feel better," says Harald Reusch, group leader telephone/technology, pleased with the additional air humidification.

"I have much less discomfort with dry mucous membranes and just feel better."
